This was such a fun collaboration with Magnolia Hill! Mrs. Alda had this idea and what a great one it was. So many amazing families came out and enjoyed marshmallows by the fire and great weather. It was such a hit that we have already scheduled the next ones for this year!
Mark December 8th on your calendar if you want in on this awesomeness!!

Cinthanie and Tanner
Cinthanie and Tanner...where do I begin with these two. I met these two thru my fitness photography division of LSP. I have photographed Cinthanie several times for that reason. She is an amazing health and fitness coach who inspires me every day. Ill post her link at the bottom! Tanner is her super amazing fiancé who has been in front of my camera many times as well but never for portraits like this. He is usually keeping my husband entertained and sane during our trips we take for fitness portraits. I absolulety love love love these two and am beyond thrilled to be a part of their wedding!
Soooo....get ready for these amazing pictures you are about to see. They SLAYED it! And Cinthanie did her own hair and makeup...so talented. These were taken at their wedding venue The Cotton Mill!!! Its so amazing!
PS...Just wait til you see her wedding dress...IM DYING to photograph it!
They are standing where all their friends and family will be sitting to witness them becoming Mr & Mrs McAllister!
They are standing exactly where they will be when pronounced "man and wife"!
I cannot wait for September 16th!!!! It's going to be AMAZING!!!

These two....are such amazing souls. I met them YEARS ago when I shot Brittany's cousin's wedding. It was one of my first weddings here in Little Rock actually. We all had an instant connection and I have no shot several weddings and portraits for this crazy family. Im afraid they are stuck with me. :)
Brittany and Cody contacted me about a month ago for a very special session. And they wanted to do it where we did their engagement session FIVE YEARS AGO!!!!! They wanted to recreate some of them. But they had a purpose behind this session. They wanted to announce that they were now FOSTER PARENTS! These two are truly angels. They melt my heart with how giving and loving they are. Seriously some of the most amazing people.
Whatever child gets to be cared for by them will be sooooooo insanely loved by so many people. Prayers for Brittany and Cody and for this new journey they have started.

Maleah told me from the first meeting that her dress was fun. I LOVED the sleeves! I don't think I have every had a bride with long sleeves. It was so fun to play with this silhouette and with Maleah's gorgeousness. We just played and played and had a blast. I think we got some pretty stinkin awesome stuff.
She married her sweet Jon in a beautiful intimate lakeside ceremony. Wednesdays are not usually a wedding day for LSP but I love weekday weddings, fun dresses, beautiful locations and in love couples so I was completely happy.

This girl…is a soooooo much fun! We played and played and played. There are things I LOVED about this session. One of the locations is a church that her great grandfather designed. How awesome is that!!! And another spot was RIGHT NEXT TO MY HOUSE!!! I knew when I moved into my house I wanted to photograph a gorgeous bride in the willow trees. Sooooo glad Jenna made the trek to my house! She ROCKED it!!!

Sooo…I might be slightly behind on blogging. Busy season is madness!! I love it! Im combining 2 blogs into one!

Now for the main event! Introducing Miss Ezleigh!

I am THRILLED to announce that LSP is now offering LIVING PHOTOS! I have been playing around this idea for years and just got brave enough to actually do it.
I've had several clients who allowed me to "play" and "experiment" but for now...I will show you just a little teaser!
These are so fun! And will be included in some of my portrait and wedding packages!! I cannot wait to show you more...but since they are mainly with bridals I will have to wait till after the weddings. EEK!
If you are interested in this awesome new product please contact me. I am so excited to be doing this.
I would LOVE to create a Living Photo for you!
Thanks to Maggie and Aaron (pictured) for letting me pull you away from your wedding reception for a few minutes. You guys are amazing!

To say that I had fun on this shoot is an understatement. Riley contacted me and needed to get portraits done ASAP! She is a busy busy girl and Im so glad she found me to do her pictures. Riley and her posse…good grief…they kept me laughing. Not having met her before the session I didn't know what to expect. Then I found out she is a very talented actress. I LOVE SHOOTING ACTORS!!! Love love love it. She and her mom had a great idea to include several of her outfits from her favorite plays. *what a great idea* I provided for some unique and a great representation of her senior year.
Riley is headed off to Florida for drama school (I forgot the name of it). She dreams of one day playing Minnie Mouse at Disney World. She's bound for great things! Enjoy her fun-filled session and her super fun outfits!!
Riley…you are awesome. Your smile is contagious. I can't wait to see what the future holds for you! Break a leg!!

]]>As an artist we (I) typically don't like when people come to us with a VERY specific idea of portrait they want us to take. I usually like to be given creative freedom BUT when Micah sent me her inspiration picture and said "all I want is a picture like this" I was excited (because I loved the picture too) but scared that I wouldn't be able to get such a specific image. I scouted out a perfect location but we had to wait because the peaches weren't blooming yet but poor Micah is about to pop. Luckily a portion of the orchard was PERFECT. Light was perfect. Weather was perfect. She arrived in her custom made lace gown and it was PERFECT! So off we went…on a mission…..
I must say….we NAILED this session. We accomplished all this gorgeousness in 30 minutes!! And special thanks to her sweet hubby for holding my gear and letting me be bossy. haha And for the Collins family for letting us use their AMAZING land!
This little lady is going to be one lucky baby to have such awesome (and gorgeous) parents!
ENJOY!

A Magnolia Hill Bride
FINALLY Peyton married her sweet Tracey so now I can show off her super fun and beautiful bridal portraits. Let me just say…Peyton IS SO GREAT! I seriously have the best clients. She is so easy going. Which is a great quality to have because EVERY TIME we got together it rained. EVERY. TIME. Our first meeting…it poured. Engagement session…rain. Bridals…more rain. And even yesterday on their wedding day…sprinkles! BUT she didn't have a care in the world…because she was marrying her favorite guy Tracey but more on that later. This bridal session was initially supposed to be downtown and more urban-ish. But due to the rain (and the Little Rock marathon) we moved indoors last minute to the Arkansas State Capitol Building. She had a super fun entourage how kept us laughing, held all my gear, and were expert dress fluffers. Take a look at my gorgeous bride Peyton. :) Leave her some love.
Peyton…Im a truly sad your day is over. I loved loved loved getting to know you and your awesome HUSBAND! (eek!) Enjoy your honeymoon!
]]>Mr. Slade Hawkins
5 weeks old
This little guy had a rough start! We had a session scheduled for a couple weeks prior but had a little medical scare and required us to reschedule! But he is all better and sooooo adorable. I had a great time with this guy!
Slade's daddy, Heath is a big razorback fan so we had to at least get a few pictures with his Hog Hat!
I have been photographing Madison FOREVER!! Like….FOREVER! I love love love seeing her so happy and with such a beautiful family!

And the sweet baby of course LOVES to get kisses from mom! I mean…how cute is he!!!

The Gorgeous Hannah Poe
Part 1
Hannah started out our first session saying she was kinda shy and didn't know how to pose in pictures…well…that didn't last long! She was a dream to work with! We had so much fun that they booked another session in Little Rock! More on that later!
Our first location was a gorgeous mansion in NorthEast Arkansas. We frolicked around the grounds and changed clothes a million times and LOVED it!
We share the same favorite bible verse.
Phillipians 4:13 "I can do everything through Him who gives me strength."
For the second location we adventured to her high school gym because gorgeous girl is also an incredible athlete. She can rock heels AND sneakers.
Always have to include a blooper! :)
Hannah, you are a beautiful lady inside and out! Can't wait to show off your Little Rock session!! :)

Every time I meet a new couple and are discussing engagement ideas I ask them what sort of things they like to do together. Harley had some awesome answers and we picked the antiquing idea to run with. The lovely people at Arkansas Peddler's Antique Mall were gracious enough to let us run around their awesome property. I wanted to buy so many things. Check out this fabulous session with this super fun couple!
Can't wait for your super fun wedding in a few months! YAY!!!

I don't know if the world is ready for all this cuteness. Meet Miss Dulcie! She was a perfect little angel. And her doting parents and grandma were great assistants for me as well. :)
Enjoy this little Christmas bundle of joy.

Thanks to the great people at Collins Orchard for letting us take advantage of their gorgeous land.

I have been getting a lot of grief for not posting many wedding photos from our wedding on Oct 20th, 2013! I am a complete slacker and totally understand where my brides are coming from now when it takes them FOREVER to post images. But today is the lucky day when I do a lil post about MY own wedding.
First off...Its crazy being in FRONT of the camera! Luckily Kim (our super fabulous amazing photographer) is just like us...goofy and kept us laughing the whole time. You will see all our silliness in the coming photos...we are a bunch of goofballs. :)
When Chris proposed to me and we started planning our wedding we knew we wanted something fun and lighthearted. And I swear our reception was more like a 5 year olds birthday party than anything. But we LOVED it.
We didn't stick to a lot of the norms. We didn't have huge bridal parties. And no flower girl or ring bearer. Our parents were not walked down the aisle. No unity candle or sand. Our great friend got ordained so he could marry us. There was no song where we stare into each others eyes. I actually let my husband surprise me with all the songs for the ceremony. I had no idea what I would be walking down the aisle to. But we did have giant balloons, a cake made out of 200 cookies, s'mores, and a GIANT Jenga. And it was PERFECT.
Here are a few from OUR day. I loved every bit of it. Especially the part where I got to marry my amazing handsome husband. He's stuck with me now. *evil laugh*
ENJOY!
Huge thanks to my girl Raye Brady for the awesome hair! And for coming to work on a Sunday. You are awesome!
He designed his fabulous shoes! I love them.
Greg Daniels did our flowers and I loved them. Simple and fun. You rock!
I LOVE MY RING! Chris designed it and had Sissy's Log Cabin make it. I love him for being different and putting so much thought in to it. I love love love it. His ring is from Joshua's Fine Jewelry in Russellville. :)
My sister, maid of honor and best friend.
The cones are full of lavender that the guests shower us with as we pronounced Mr and Mrs Hall.
He wanted us to writte our own vows...that was tough! But so worth it. I loved it.
My grandmothers are both passed and it makes me sad that they never got to meet Chris. But I had hydrangea petals line the aisle because they always remind me of them. I know they were watching and having a good time. They would've loved Chris.
The shot on the far right is one of my favorite for this reason. :)
Since I didnt have an official bridal party besides my sister I had all "my girls" get some sort of grey dress. It was fun to do a couple pictures with all my people.
Check out his fancy tie knot! I was impressed!
My dad got us these cool metal signs that we wrote on. I loved them.
My mom made a fancy frui† stack. She has made them for ever wedding since I can remember at church so it was special having one at mine too. :) Thanks mom.
I'm pretty sure this sums us up pretty well....me laughing at who knows what and Chris looking at me like I'm crazy. hahaha
It would have been hard to get a good photographer in Little Rock on this day...As you can see below most of the fabulous ones were here!! Love my photog peeps!
I will put the link up to the AMAZING wedding video by Durant Studios soon so you can see the fun time lapse of the life of this Jenga set. It's too funny.
I guess this is my excited "I love s'mores" face. What a dork. lol
TA-DA!! That was our wedding! Fun, simple, and awesome! (If I do say so myself). I have a few more from my other photographer bestie who wanted to take some as well. Those will be in the facebook album.
We have been married almost 8 months now and things are great! :) I have a deeper respect for my clients now. Weddings are stressful and expensive...but be creative and BE YOU and it will be the most perfect day.
THANK YOU to all our crazy crew for making our day what it was. Our parents, family and friends...You are our rock. We cannot begin to express who much you mean to us. We love you all!

When I first met Grace I was taken with her beauty! Then she showed me her two dresses she had planned for her big day...I was instantly inspired and excited. We planned her session at Trapnall Hall because she wanted timeless and vintage. Her reception was The Great Gatsby themed as you can see her super fun and glamorous second dress.
Scroll down to see all of this glamour!
This gown was custom made for her using lace from her grandmother's wedding dress. How fantastic is that!!
AND HERE IS THE RECEPTION DRESS!!!
Grace is a dancer...I'm guess that's how she didn't fall a million times in those crazy awesome heels!
Below is one of my favorites!! Thanks to her awesome planner Jen for holding my equipment to make this shot possible!
LOVE THESE BELOW!!! The wind was CRAZY this day so we just made it work for us! Thank you wind!
And as you can tell from below...we had a great time! She was a blast to work with and such a good sport.
Grace and Brian....your wedding was beautiful. I wish you all the best on your new adventure together in Hawaii!
God Bless,
Lori

This beautiful lady is a high school senior in Conway! When we first met she said had lots of ideas! She had been dancing since she was tiny so we just knew we had a to start out at her dance studio. Then she mentioned that her family owned a peach orchard! YES PLEASE! And then add in that Katherine is beautiful..I was a happy photographer!
Katherine is headed off to Ole Miss in the Fall!
Congratulations beautiful lady! I know you are gonna have fun!

]]>INTRODUCING "HELLO WORLD"...Baby's First Year Portrait Package
Throughout the years I have taken pictures of a few babies and few expectant mothers. I have never advertised for it but seniors turn into brides, brides turn into mothers, mothers have babies....you see the pattern. :) Sooo after a fair amount of requests for the full year package I broke down and put something together. This will cover maternity to the first birthday! And any combo of milestones in between. :)
Accompanying the actual shoots and pictures will be custom designed announcements and lots of products to help you celebrate this fabulous new lil life that was created. My favorite is wall portraits and small albums for those proud grandparents!
Please contact me for more details! I'm happy to start conquering this new adventure.

The day after Valentine's Day social media is flooded with pictures of shiny rings, happy couples, and sweet proposal stories! As a wedding photography we normally get to meet couples after all this but every now and then we get to be a part of it from the beginning. Meet Garrett and Megan. Garrett has been a great friend of mine for several years now. When he told me he was popping the question to his sweet lady I was THRILLED. I have never seen him so happy. THEN he told me he wanted to surprise her with photos of it all and that's where I came it in to play. Little did I know how nervous I would be. We scouted the location together (where they had their first kiss) and planned the whole event! I was shaking like a leaf the whole time...I have a whole new respect for the men who do this. Mother Nature decided to add the element of rain to make it that much more interesting!
Their smiles make me happy!! Pure Joy.
This is when she sees me! :)
I said "Show me the ring"...this is what I got...Garrett was a little excited. haha
Here is a tip for the guys: When you pop the question to your special lady...hire a photographer to capture this event. These moments cannot be recreated. My husband did and I will forever cherish those photos...it was so thoughtful.
Garrett and Megan will be wed in May and I chose to actually attend the wedding. I cannot wait. These two are perfect for each other and I have never seen them happier. God is good! Love you guys!
Lori :)

Darby contacted me with an idea to divide her senior session into 3 parts...Fall,Winter, and Spring. I loved the idea!!! So we took her regular session time and divided it into 3 smaller sessions. What a fabulous concept! So here are some highlights of the beautiful Darby's Fall Senior Session

Natalie is a GORGEOUS senior at Central Arkansas Christian. I first met her when I was shooting prom pictures for another client. She and her date were there and she blew me away when it came time for me to get her individual portrait. I knew right then I had to shoot her again! Luckily she was a junior at that time so we quickly made plans for her senior portraits. She is so much fun to work with and absolutely beautiful inside and out! Take a lil look at our session together!
]]>
I love this session!! The couple is GORGEOUS! And some of the sweetest people ever and I LOVE PRE (and post) SESSIONS!!!!!! Pre-Sessions are when the couple decide to do their "First Look" and portraits before their wedding day! This is so much fun! And awesome for so many reasons.
1. You have plenty of uninterrupted time for portraits. Which rarely happens on wedding days.
2. It's a much more intimate experience. Just the bride, groom, and myself.
3. The wedding day is less stressful and more exciting. You no longer have to worry about getting those killer portraits...you already did and you rock it.
4. You have portraits to show off at the wedding! Wedding guests are always blown away by already having awesome portraits to look at and appreciate.
I will blog a post-wedding session soon! But for now enjoy Julie and Caleb's pre-wedding session!

Which was a good thing because I ending up spending 4 days with her and her family when an ice storm threatened her wedding. It was quite the adventure but that story for another blog post. Updated from previous blog:
Its been FOREVER! I will admit...I stink at blogging. BUT I'm determined to be more regular with this! Feel free to keep me accountable if you see me around. haha
OK...here is the plan. As some of you know...IM ENGAGED! I got engaged to this amazing man 2 days after my return from my 2 month mission trip to Brazil (yes I will be blogging about that too)! He even hired some professional photographer friends of mine, the fabulous Christopher Nolan Photography, to be all sneaky and get pictures. Click this linkto see the fabulous pictures. Everyone did a great great job keeping this a secret! :) So after all the madness of telling everyone I knew...came call the questions. "When is the big day?" and of course "who is going to do your pictures?". Then came this overwhelming feeling....I have to plan MY wedding. I help people all the time plan theirs...but this is MINE! So I thougth I would share my experiences from "the other side". First edition subject...YOUR BLING!
Your guy just spent a lot of time picking out (and shelling out some hard earned money) to get your dream wedding ring! How do you care for this piece of jewelry you will have forever? I had no idea! I'm not a jewelry wearing girl normally. Soooo I went to the experts! Here are a few tips fromJoshua's Fine Jewlery! These guys are amazing!
After years of working on, cleaning, and selling jewelry I have come to realixe that most people just don't know how to take care fo their jewelry. Here are a few tips to help you out.
Tip #1: Precious metals are soft and they wear down easily. Be careful doing hard work or repetitive jobs like digging, filing, or lifting weights while wearing gold or platinum.
Tip #2: Clean your jewelry often! Either yourself or professionaly. A combination or dirt, lotion, make-up, grease, and body oils can make up a powerful abrasive substance. Your jewelry will last longer and look a lot better if you clean it regularly.
Tip #3: Mr. Clean diluted half strength with water is a great cleaner for almost any piece of jewelry. Use a new toothbrush (no toothpaste ever) and scrub it clean. No pearls, opals, or extremely soft stones tho...but most others will be okay.
Tip #4: Check your jewelry often. It's recommended 3-4 times a year! We always say everytime you change your oil...check your jewelry.
Tip #5: NEVER sleep in your jewelry! We see more accidental breakage from that than any other reason!
Take care of your jewelry and it will last for generations. We are always glad to clean and check yours for free anytime. We love to serve our customers and love making new friends everyday!
I didn't know most of that! Glad I asked! Any more questions about caring for your fabulous new ring go visit their website at joshuasfinejewelry.com and click Ask The Jeweler button. Or go to their facebook page and chat them up there! These guys also do special orders and custom jewelry designs that are AWESOME! Go by and visit them in Russellville for an extensive inventory of merchandise. Tell them Lori sent you! ;-)
Now aren't you glad you know this stuff! Stay tuned for the next blog coming at you! WOOHOO!
